About the event

An evening of poetry performed and written by Mark Adrian Jefferis aka, The iambic Assassin, followed my acoustic blues, Irish slide guitar music from the man from Malvern (originally Mayo), Will Killeen.

Mark is influenced by the well known punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke so expect silly verse and laughter from his observations and things that irk him in life. Clare Ferguson Walker once said that; “The iambic Assassin is a Talented and clever wordsmith, who weaves poetry into stories which are as funny as they are poignant."

Will Killeen is a highly acclaimed Irish acoustic blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has a totally unique style; celtic roots mixed with American blues. He's also considered to be one of the foremost slide guitar players in Europe today. Will once replaced Rory Gallagher when the band ‘Taste’ was formed!
